AMFA Members at Horizon Air:

The National Mediation Board’s Representational Election has concluded at Horizon Air. The result is that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) received the most votes and will be certified as the bargaining agent for the Class and Craft of Mechanic and Related.

If you tell a lie often enough, does it become the truth? Of course not, but that does not stop the Teamster paid organizers from trying!

Throughout the three (3) debates on April 2, 2009, the paid organizers kept telling the Horizon Air members that the Teamsters are the most well run union in the country. On March 23, 2009, United States District Court Judge, Robert S. Lasnik, predictably denied the motion brought by the Teamsters’ supporters for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and preliminary injunction against Horizon Air Industries, Inc.
