Similar to the United Airlines mechanics grass-roots campaign to leave the IBT after only one year of "representation," or lack thereof, MANY pilot groups are also seeking to leave the Teamsters organization.

The Teamsters then retaliate with the strong-arm tactic of putting the Local under emergency trusteeship.

AMFA Members at Horizon Air:

The National Mediation Board’s Representational Election has concluded at Horizon Air. The result is that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) received the most votes and will be certified as the bargaining agent for the Class and Craft of Mechanic and Related.

If you tell a lie often enough, does it become the truth? Of course not, but that does not stop the Teamster paid organizers from trying!

Throughout the three (3) debates on April 2, 2009, the paid organizers kept telling the Horizon Air members that the Teamsters are the most well run union in the country. Not so fast -- please visit the Teamsters own Web site, Teamsters for A Democratic Union, to find out the real truth about corruption, greed, misuse of members funds, Teamster pension troubles, stolen and manipulated elections and more outrageous behavior within the Teamster organization.

Judge Denies Teamster’s TRO and Injunction PDF Print E-mail

On March 23, 2009, United States District Court Judge, Robert S. Lasnik, predictably denied the motion brought by the Teamsters’ supporters for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and preliminary injunction against Horizon Air Industries, Inc.
