United Mechanics Turn Down Concessionary Teamster TA
Jun 06, 2011
June 6, 2011 -- AMFA supports the United Airlines (UAL) mechanics’ rejection of the weak and concessionary Tentative Agreement (TA) brought out by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT). We believe the UAL mechanics deserve to have their union representatives consider all of the sacrifices they have made over the years in turning United into the company it is today. This failed TA clearly falls short of the mark. AMFA also supports the members’ right to choose a union that listens to their concerns and fights for their rights at the bargaining table.
