AMFA Signs MSAP at United Airlines

AMFA signed a Maintenance Safety Awareness Program (MSAP) with United Airlines and FAA representatives in San Francisco on July 14, 2005.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by AMFA. Ernie Kiss. Safety and Standards Director; FAA, Stokes Anderson Jr.; and United Services, Greg Hall, Senior V.P. The signing took place on the second anniversary of AMFA’s representation of the members at United Airlines.

This agreement was completed by the dedication and hard work of the United Airlines Safety and Standards Chairmen within the system, with the team leader Mike Ayala of Local 9.

This is the fourth of such programs signed by AMFA under the Aviation Safety Action Program Advisory Circular. AMFA also has ASAP at Alaska Airlines, Independence Air, and Southwest Airlines
