MESABA 1113c CLAIM PROCEEDS
ELIGIBILITY NOTICE

The AMFA National Executive Council (NEC) has established the following qualifications for determining the Mesaba Airlines employees who shall be eligible to receive a share of the proceeds from the sale of the bankruptcy claim. Note that an employee must meet both items 1 and 2 of the following qualifications (item 3 only if applicable) to be eligible to receive a distribution:

1. You must have been an AMFA represented employee* and had an employee/employer relationship with Mesaba Airlines (active, furloughed, or on an approved leave of absence) on the contract ratification date of November 24, 2006.
   
2. You must be an active AMFA represented employee* at Mesaba Airlines on April 1, 2007.
   
3. You must have accepted recall on or before February 24, 2007, if you were on furlough November 24, 2006.
   

* For purposes of this distribution, an “AMFA represented employee” means an employee in the class and craft of Mechanic and Related at Mesaba Airlines as established by the National Mediation Board.

On February 24, 2007, a notification letter along with applicable forms was mailed to all eligible employees at the address on file with AMFA National; these forms must be completed by the employee and returned to AMFA National to be processed as soon as possible. If you feel you are eligible and did not receive this notification letter you must contact AMFA National by April 1, 2007, so we can resolve the issue prior to the proceeds being distributed.
