Referendum Notice
AMFA - Horizon Air Tentative Agreement

The AMFA – Horizon Air Negotiating Committee has called for a referendum regarding a Tentative Agreement (TA) to change the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Copies of the complete text of proposed changes to the CBA will be available for your inspection at your Local and on the AMFA National Web site at www.amfanatl.org under the heading “Elections and Referenda” or by clicking here.

This secret ballot referendum will be conducted by mail. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Horizon Air under the Mechanics and Related CBA are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing and, therefore, their vote will be cancelled in this referendum. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to this referendum being tallied.

Ballots will be mailed to the last known address of all eligible voters by October 20, 2005. Any member who has not received a ballot by November 4, 2005, or any member who spoils a ballot must submit a written request for a duplicate ballot to AMFA National no later than November 10, 2005. If you request another ballot, only the replacement ballot will be counted.

Ballots must be returned to the PO Box used for this purpose in sufficient time to be received by 10 AM ET on November 21, 2005, the date of the ballot count. The referendum results will be posted no later than November 22, 2005.

Anyone having questions about the voting process should contact the AMFA Election Coordinator at 603-527-9212.
