AMFA REACHES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT WITH ATA AIRLINES

INDIANAPOLIS, February 2, 2006 – The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) announced that it reached a tentative three-year agreement today with ATA Airlines. The tentative agreement is the first contract for the AMFA-represented technicians and related personnel at ATA.

AMFA will not disclose further details of the agreement until its members working at ATA have had ample opportunity to review and vote on the agreement.

AMFA’s craft union represents aircraft maintenance technicians and related support personnel at Alaska Airlines, ATA, Horizon Air, Mesaba Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.
