Referendum Notice The AMFA ASA Negotiating Committee has called for a referendum regarding a Tentative Agreement (TA) to change the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). This referendum has two questions to be voted on: • The first vote is to accept or reject the TA. Copies of the complete text of proposed changes • The second vote is regarding switching to the new proposed method of profit sharing. Refer to the TA for details on the new proposed method of profit sharing. Votes for this referendum will be cast using the TrueBallot Inc., WebVote® and TeleVote® systems. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Alaska Airlines under the Mechanics and Related Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing and, therefore, their vote will be cancelled in this referendum. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to this referendum being conducted. The referendum notice and instructions were mailed to eligible voters at the address on file with AMFA National Administration as of July 8, 2005. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions in the mail by July 21, 2005, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Election Coordinator at 603-527-9212. The voting period for this referendum will commence at 3:00 PM ET on July 8, 2005, and will end at 10:00 AM ET on July 27, 2005, the day of the tally. The results will be announced by July 28, 2005.
